Administrative Officer for Internal Support within the Functional Unit

We are now looking for a structured individual for the position of Administrative Officer for Internal Support within the Functional Unit at the Defense Medicine Center. It is an advantage if you enjoy a role with varied and challenging tasks, and you should be motivated by taking responsibility and being an important cog in a large machine.
About the Unit
The Functional Unit consists of officers and civilian specialists, including doctors and nurses. Our mission is to develop and support Defense Health with guidelines for safe and secure healthcare. FunkE also conducts development and supply of medical materials and pharmaceuticals. In addition, research is conducted in the field of defense medicine.
Main Responsibilities
You will work with a variety of tasks to support both employees and management within the Functional Unit in their work. The daily tasks primarily consist of supporting the unit's and departments' administrative work, registering cases, and forwarding them to the right people. Tasks can range from various orders in different systems to being responsible for preparations during the onboarding of new employees, managing the unit's list planning, planning and organizing meetings, and taking minutes. You will also support parts of the unit in the work with defense medicine publications through administration and coordination. The position also includes work with NATO publications, thus great emphasis is placed on experience in standardization and implementation work within NATO.
Qualifications
- have a high school education
- have experience working as an administrator
- have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
- have a B driver's license
Meritorious
- have completed military training with a passing result
- have completed the DSA course Standardization within NATO with a passing result
- have participated in the MHS K course SharePoint for emilia editors
- have good computer skills, with experience in the accounting system PRIO, VIDAR, EMILIA, and MS Office
- have experience in administrative work and/or work in a military staff
- have experience in order management or equivalent
- have staff training or equivalent through the Armed Forces, HV, or another voluntary organization
- have experience in the Armed Forces' publication work
- have experience in list planning within the Armed Forces

We appreciate a methodical and systematic approach; planning ahead, clear priorities, and the ability to allocate resources effectively. Since the work is often intense and occurs on many levels, you need to be proactive, organized, and structured in your work.
As the work will be varied, you should easily take on new tasks and be flexible. You are a team player who collaborates easily with others and supports your colleagues in the unit in striving to achieve common goals.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The Defense Medicine Center (FömedC) is the Armed Forces' center for the function of defense medicine, located in Gothenburg. FömedC consists of a management with staff, the Armed Forces Combat School for Defense Medicine (FSS), the Functional Unit (FunkE), and the Hospital Battalion (Sjhbat). The center has licensed health and medical personnel such as doctors, veterinarians, nurses, and more. Here, there are officers, reserve officers, civilian staff, and conscripts. The Defense Medicine Center is part of the Gothenburg Garrison.
